Everyone will find something new to learn 0at The Art Studio of Deptford.  Learn to relax while learning a new art. We have a great lineup of wonderful and creative art programs. 

Calligraphy Monday morning 10:00 – 12:00 or Monday evenings 6-8pm. Learn a beautiful hand and create a unique holiday card and gift tags. $65.00 Deptford Residents/ $75.00 non-resident

Tuesday Mornings 10:00- 12:00 am at the Studio we will be making hand made books to give as gifts or for our own use.  We will learn several structures and various bindings.

 $120.00 Deptford Residents/ $150.00 non-resident  

Wednesday Mornings 10:00- 12:00 is for healing- art is a great way to decompress, relax and find some new friendships.  Suggested donation $5.00

Thursday morning 10:00-12:00 we will explore watercolor this is a beginner session to build up our confidence and mastery of watercolor skills. We are building on a Winter theme for our projects.

 $65.00 Deptford Residents/ $75.00 non-resident Supply fee $15.00

 Friday 10:00 – 12:00 we will have an open studio, where we will be talking about art and sharing what we do creatively.  Pop in and see what we are creating.  Suggested donation $5.00

Summer Art Camp $20 morning and $20. afternoon session $30. Full day resident, $120 for all 5 days. non resident $25 per session or $45. Per day. $150. Per week.

Monday January 15 – Calligraphy modern to copperplate 10am

Italic 6 – 8 pm

Tuesday January 16, 2024 

10am Artists Bookmaking- we will be creating several book structures in this class. pop in and see what we are creating!

4 to 6pm Childrens afterschool art program children will explore their creativity with many different disciplines for them to learn, try and create!

Wednesday January 17, 2024 

Healing arts program- we will explore thru color and techniques having a project each week that we can be proud of to give as gifts to ourselves or share to brighten up others.

10am and 6pm

Thursday January 18, 2024

11 am- Watercolor for the beginner to intermediate, we will explore watercolors thru various projects and create a painting learning new skills and techniques along the way in a creative safe environment. As Winter is here, we will explore winter landscapes and winter themed projects and a few florals to warm a winters morning!

this class will be offered again at 6pm.

Open Studio art fun

We have been having open art studio for a while now at noon, we are going to bring this event to the morning slot with new tutorials in many disciplines thru out the 6 weeks. this will be a drop in with a $15.00 materials fee for the 6 weeks, and $5.00 for the room fee each week.

noon- 2pm

will be a traditional open studio without instruction. Please bring your supplies and share what you are working on. $5.00 studio fee each session.

Friday evening, 6-8pm we will be exploring watercolor with a fall theme, while we hone our skills in watercolor.

Summer Art Camp At the Art Studio at Deptford

First week down! We had so much fun. we created with watercolors, colored pencils and oil pastels. We learned to draw fireworks, sea creatures and Ice cream Cones! We made clay figures and metal faces from the Aztec culture. We built with blocks and created with felt. all in all fun was had by all!
