Tuesdays 6-8 pm
September 7,14,21,28, October 5,12 (6 weeks)
Modern Calligraphy using a dip pen and ink. You will learn the upper- and lower-case letters, writing quotes and poems. Learn to create flowers with your pen to accent your calligraphy. We will be using inks, watercolor and gouache and various papers to create beautiful works of art.

Watercolor- this is a beginner’s introduction to watercolor to build up our knowledge of the art of watercolor. We will learn about the tools and materials used in watercolor. We will be able to make good decisions. Each lesson will have a project using the specific technique learned. Wet on wet, wet on dry brushwork and putting it all together. If you have ever wanted to learn about watercolor or want to brush up on your watercolor skills this class is for you.

Bookmaking- a beginners book class, create a beautiful Coptic book, star ornament book- create a book structure ready to hang on your tree, or sit on a desk. Embellish your book with vintage holiday motifs, beads, or personal photos. If you love making books this class is for you. Learn to create these little gems to give as gifts or hang on the tree.

Jewelry making, we will learn about using paper to make beautiful beads. Alcohol ink on tiles to create stunning necklaces or pins. Water epoxy and tiles to create a one-of-a-kind embedded art tile. metal impression

Tangles – time to decompress just before the holidays. We will be creating beautiful tangles that we can use for making boxes and ornaments and gift tags for the holidays. one class $15.00
